I just signed up for this free online “Self Discovery” workshop with Deepak Chopra and thought it might be something my readers would be interested in.
From their ad:
“Deepak’s going to be showing us how to:
Get rid of negative thought patterns and experiences
Really find ourselves and our life’s purpose
Attract abundance and new opportunities (hello dream life!)
Tune into our higher wisdom
Deepak will also be teaching us what “SynchroDestiny is and how we can tap into it.”

Julie is a leadership and success coach at Call to Lead Coaching. I’ve been following Julie on Facebook for about a year. She happens to be the momma of one of my favorite personal trainers. I highly recommend you follow her business page, link below. She provides a lot of quality content about living your best life and becoming a leader that you would want to follow.

Thank you again, Julie!
It seems like such a cultural norm for we woman to discuss others when we get together. (I don’t know what men talk about…) That in and of itself doesn’t have to be a bad thing, but how many times has coffee with a friend turned to a dish-about-others session? How many girls’ nights out …
I started putting my needs first last year with giving myself my 30 minutes at the gym. This whole blog is about how doing so has pulled me out of depression and given me a life back.
I started the #30daysofGrowth by using Mel Robbins’ 5 second rule. Now, I want you to try it.
Thinking positive does more than just make us feel a little better, then. It cultivates our minds to grow more abilities and resources. Positive thinking is the fertilizer of personal development.
Celebrate every victory, no matter how small. Appreciation for what you’ve accomplished or been blessed with is the basis for every next step in the process of self-improvement. Every topic I’ve written about on my blog, every part of a balanced mind, body, and soul requires gratitude. It’s a corner piece. You’ll get no where without it.
If you think you are giving 100% of yourself to everyone around you but you are not taking care of yourself, you are fooling yourself. If you are not taking care of yourself, you don’t have 100% to give. You are not being admirably sacrificial. It’s not an honorable thing, as some of us have been misled into thinking, to martyr our self-care in the name of taking care of our family.
